The 08SE Energy Star Electronic Casement Window Air Conditioner provides energy efficient cooling, allowing the user to get any room at the ideal temperature. This air conditioning unit is designed for installation into double hinged casement windows, making it the perfect alternative to an expensive central air conditioner. Not only does this window unit air conditioner cool the room, it also has a dehumidifier, the perfect option for muggy days. This AC unit has a 24 hour timer which allows you to leave it on when away from home. It features a digital display for easy reading, a four speed fan, four-direction louvers and a handy remote control. A "sleep mode" feature decreases the cooling by 2 degrees after one hour and by 4 degrees after two hours, saving on compressor usage and using less energy while you sleep. The included filter is removable and washable.
