This 13,000 BTU air cooling unit features an ionizer and UV light that effectively inactivates microorganisms, for better air quality. This system ideally cools an area up to 420 square feet (much larger than an average room). The air conditioning system effectively improves air circulation in poorly ventilated spaces, and maximizes energy efficiency. This room air conditioner uses Self-Evaporating Technology; during the cooling process, water is extracted from the air into the unit. Most of this water is then recycled and used to cool the cooling coils and make it run more efficiently, cooling as well as energy. It also uses a new UL required LCDI plug.
