[...]. The chairs are high quality, sturdy and appear to be able to out last the "heavy" sitter. The table is not made to be as sturdy as the chairs. My first table was defective and was replaced. Chairs and table seem to be made by different manufacturers. They match in wood, but quality differs. Very happy with this table. Have recovered a few more inches in my small kitchen.
