We use these as display pieces in our retail store. They look good and hold up well. We have had two of them for years, and I recently bought two more. I like that they stack or unstack depending on what display I need to set up. They are a bit tipsy, so we screw them to the wall when stacking.

We have bought several sets of this style of bookshelf over the years; we have moved several times, and we like how easy they are to move. This is our favorite style - with dowels in the side so the books don't fall out and with high sides on the top shelf so that when the bookshelves are stacked, full size books will fit on the top shelf of the bottom piece. The bad thing about this set was assembly, which is crazy, since there is practically no assembly with this bookshelf! However this was the problem: the pegs provided to connect the two bookshelves did not fit in the drilled holes. At first, we just tried hammering them in, as recommended in the directions; but the wood pieces split. So then, we had to go out and find the proper size drill to re-drill the holes. It turned out to be quite a chore, but they're up now, and we love them.
