The description didn't say that the customer would be assembling. In spite of that it would have been OK, except that some of the holes didn't line up. We had to get out the drill and make new holes. After finishing assembly, the shelves look pretty good.
Service and delivery comments:
2 sets of shelves purchased on Sept. 10. I made one phone call after 2 weeks and was assured they would be shipped immediately. Received them on October 7. Seemed like long wait to me.

I am using these shelves to increase the storage area in a small condo. I found baskets that fit perfectly onto each shelf. I have each shelf filled to the max and they are very sturdy.
