I have a pine bead board laundry room and the area that I have for this was smaller. The appearance was perfect for the room and I was surprised how sturdy this small rack it. I hang my personal items to dry, micro clothes and one or two pieces of clothing that I want to dry. The hook are about 2.5 inches long and swing flat. So they are never sticking out. Nice product for compact space. Purchase Nov 10
