This product must be assembled using a rubber mallet or else the metal will get bent out of shape. Also, when hammered into place, plastic shavings from the connector pieces may be difficult to remove completely and will effect the appearance of the assembled shelf.

After searching in stores and on line, I finally found exactly what I needed. I was looking for a pretty shelf/etagere for my newly remodeled masterbath. Silver/chrome is hard to find anywhere and this matched the bath perfectly. The quality is very good and it is very sturdy. The glass shelves are heavy, not flimsy at all. It will be holding my towels and washcloths folded or rolled neatly like a spa or hotel room. There's also room for a candle, plant and decorative item. I only wish that it were just a few inches wider. The only thing I was not too happy with was the assembly. A rubber mallet is required. I don't have one so I improvised with a hammer wrapped well with a towel. It worked fine. Also needed was a screwdriver for rubber-like screws on each corner. No other tools are needed. Directions were simple enough but the beginning of assembly took a lot of "hammering" to connect the pieces together. Do not let this deter you. The finished product is well worth the work.
