Shopper: How did this work out in the kitchen holding pot and pans ect?
Jessica K: We only used it in our garage for storage, not in the kitchen. But unless you have very small items, it should work just fine. Very sturdy.

we have it in the basement holding toys, can be a little tricky to level
sara o: I would not put pots and pans on the white wire shelving, as the white paint may chip. The chrome wire shelves seem to hold up better for heavy items in the kitchen. White shelves are good for clothes or books (and items that are not super heavy and that are not slid around alot ).
