It is designed with an eight-compartment feeder bowl and has a unique digital timer that features voice recording ability. With this feeder, you can record a special message to be played to your pet during each mealtime. The 8-A-Day feeder's digital timer features a manual override/test switch, and can be programmed to dispense food up to 8 times per day. The timer can be programmed for the exact feeding times that your pet is used to (unlike other feeders that only have 6, 12 or 24-hour incremental feed settings). Thus, food and medicine can be given to your pet at an exact time. The 8-A-Day Auto pet feeder works on AA batteries (batteries not included) and is compact and portable. This feeder holds over 96 ozs of food - 12 ozs of canned food or dry food per compartment! It comes with a removable bowl for easy cleaning, and ice packs that can keep wet food fresh for up to 12 hours.
