They aren't top quality furniture, but they make great inexpensive storage units. I've used them as a base to an Ikea bookcase. They are sturdy, and do the trick if you don't want to spend a lot of money for some extra storage space. Recommend buying from Stacks and Stacks. Reliable seller. Pros

Comments about Stacks and Stacks 9-in-1 Modular System - Open Extended Cube: We got this to set our microwave on to keep it out of the reach of our little ones. We bought the open cube and had to leave the back off for wire management and it was a little too wobbly for us to use under the microwave, so we bought the divided one, which seems to have more support in the middle and so far works great. The espresso finish even matches our Crate & Barrel buffet, which is what the cubes sit on. The light weight construction of the pieces themselves feel like they would be flimsy, but we haven't had any trouble with it bowing under the weight of the microwave. Easy to assemble. Pros
