I bought two of these valets. I have had various ones in the past and most of them have been antique. This model measures up pretty well to those old and strong ones. For me, I think the value is very good, the quality is great and putting them together was pretty easy.

I bought this so my husband would not drape slightly used clothing over the laundry basket. He uses it some, but doesn't hand trousers on the rod neatly. If this bar could have a swing-out or drop-down capability, the task could be done more easily.
