I was really happy with the look of the canister, but before I ever started using it the wood split down the side. I was really disappointed and sadly could not remember who I purchased it through. Until I received this e-mail to rate this product. I would not recommend this product to anyone....

This is very nice and useful. The insert can be put into the dishwasher and has a little handle to carry the junk out. The only small problem is that the lid doesn't sit real tight on - you have to kind of push it down firm. Overall I am quite pleased with it although it wasn't the cheapest solution.
