I ordered this product as a Christmas gift for my daughter. I love the concept of this product, but I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the product. It looked like it was used because a piece of wood had been glued back onto the product. The slats did not fit together properly and letters would slide right through the compartments. I didn't return it because the shipping fees would have cost me more than the product. It is a good thing my son in law is a woodworker, because he had to literally "repair" the product in order to use it. Very dissappointed!

This is a great letter holder, at a really good price. My only complaint is that it is not big enough to hold larger envelopes like cards etc.

Shopper: Is this item worth buying?

Michael S: In my opinion, it's well worth buying. It's lightweight but very sturdy since it's made of bamboo. The width is perfect for letters or bills "to be paid" and the key hooks are invaluable for never misplacing your keys. I hung mine in the kitchen near the front door so its very convenient as I enter and leave the house. I'm very, very pleased with my purchase.

Joseph D: Yes, is has deep enough pockets. That was what was hard to find for me. Key hooks are sturdy too. The only thing I struggled with was getting it on the wall was awkward.

Heather L: I liked this item, I just wish it was wider. Our larger mail doesn't fit, but the top is husbands mail, middle is wifes, and bottom is outgoing. Just wish it were wider, but we use it every day!!

Penny H: I bought this some months ago for friends of mine, and they like it. If you are planning on putting 15 letters in each slot, or bulky things, probably would want something else. It seems to do fine for them, and they get a lot of mail.

Nate L: I have used this item for nearly 2 years. It was very affordable and it is also durable. It is slender and can fit on the side of a cabinet, or above a light switch by a door or inside a cabinet if you like to hide clutter (as I do.) Check the dimensions and make sure it will hold what items you want. I don't like storing pens in it, though....they fall over and many will fall out if I try to pull out one.
