I now have a nice piece but has screws that were too long at the top and that poke through the top cap. go figure. It all fits together other than that. Is this a manufacturing error? I need a bolt cutter to trim them but now just hiding under towels. Ugh.

This product is typical of the low quality from China. It is very light and unstable. We had to rig a fastener into the wall to keep it from tipping forward.

The item looks fabulous online, but is much poorer quality than its price would suggest. I suspect the price comes solely from the cost of the glass shelves, which are the only decent part of this unit. The biggest problem is that the plastic spacers that form the decorative rings around the joints are not equal, so that the flimsy metal tubes that form the backbone of the shelves are not parallel to each other, making the insertion of the shelving supports incredibly difficult. I had to force things to bend in the right direction several times. Another huge problem is that at the top of the etagere, the screws are too long, so that the top caps do not sit flush with the top shelf. Having to insert the base behind the toilet and then assemble the rest of it around the toilet was slightly inconvenient, but not as inconvenient as the poor quality of the materials.\n\nThe only thing that is good, in my opinion, is that it stores a lot of bathroom stuff for a small footprint. If you don't look too closely at it, it looks very classy.
