Wood Bed Lifters by Richards Homewares

Wood bed lifters are an organizer's best friend, instantly adding storage to the bedroom!  Great for storing bedding, out-of-season clothing and more.

Finally! More Closet Space! Free up some space in your closet with a set of stacking bed lifters! Bed lifters raise your bed in minutes, giving you a space-efficient storage area, which will in turn leave you more room for clothes in the closet and around the home. These solid wood bed risers can be stacked to give you even more underbed storage space. These bed risers fit casters, square and round bed posts. Please note that, due to the finishes being composed of wood, there may be slight differences in color.  One set of blocks will raise your bed 2 3/4" to 3 1/2". Add another set of blocks to gain up to 7" in height!  Set of 4. Inner circle measures 3" in diameter and 3/4" deep.

Comments about Wood Bed Lifters - by Richards Homewares - 5980-4:

These lifts were used on my daughter's crib because we had run out of space for storage in the room. Under her crib seemed the most logical next step. They worked great and looked great with our dark stained antique furniture. The only challenge was finding storage bins that were big enough to fit her clothes and baby sheet/blankets but still slide easily from under the crib. The only downside was the price being so much more than for the ugly plastic/rubber ones. However, they didn't break the bank and I have no regrets!

We used them to elevate an antique table

    By Alicia

    from Saranac Lake, NY

Comments about Wood Bed Lifters - by Richards Homewares - 5980-4:

Seller was great and althought the lifters are working, one arrived damaged. We used them to elevate a long, very heavy antique butcher block table to counter height. On the top of the lifters, there are four, triangular corners glued to the block. Several of these corner pieces had broken away. The easiest fix is just to take them all off- they're not strong enough to provide any support anyway.

Originally i bought the black plastics ones. 1 year later, they broke. I opted to try these stackable blocks. I should have done this first. Very nice quality and looks. I will do business with this company again.

Elevated headboard side of bed well using 2 stacked together. Sturdy but area for caster is really small; ours just barely fit. Has helped relieve GERD. Contrary to predictions, is less than 30 per cent angle, so we do not slide off.

          Q & A

          Questions about this item:
Shopper: How did double height work for elevating head of bed for acid reflux problems?
Sherrill D: sorry Jack.. I bought them for storage under the bed but they should help w/ some at the head of the bed for your problem..
Mary P: I didn't use them for that reason. I just needed height as I'm tall and need height to make the bed and to get out of as well.
Karen B: I did not use the lifts for a bed. I used them for a couch and a chair in the living room. It made rising due to a weak knee much much easier.
LeGrace B: To Jack: I did not try this, but I think it would be more stable on a carpet floor than on a smooth one. What many do for acid reflux is to use slant pillows or slanted mattress covers.
Kris S: I used a set of 4 to elevate a low bunk bed so that a dresser could fit underneath. It has fat wooden legs that barely fit into the lifters. If I only used 2 to lift the head, the legs might not fit into the holes.
Shopper: I would like to raise a computer desk. It has 6 legs. Will a leg that measures 1 3/4 by 1 3/4 by 1 3/4 by 1 3/4 fit into this riser?
Matthew L: Luise: that should be no problem. Our bed casters measured 2 x 1 3/4 and fit, just. Matt Leone
Betsy L: Yes, I feel certain the legs will fit.
Robert M: Yes, they will fit.
LeGrace B: Re: risers used under computer desk. The inside circle diameter would accommodate the computer legs, but I think the result would be a bit unstable if in a free-standing space. Also note that the risers do not slide easily thus are unstable when moving any objects resting on them.
Emily G: Hi Luise ~ I bought these several years ago for my office desk but now no longer have that desk. Sorry I can't be of more help ~ perhaps the manufacturer could provide you with the diameter of the inset hole. If it's too small, perhaps just flip the lifters over and secure the legs to the flat part of the lifters with an L bracket.
          Comment(s) about this item:
Sandra M: These risers are more sturdy than the plastic ones per the reviews I've read.
          Allen L: color and sturdiness
Jill K: They are the only risers that will fit my bed. I live in a small space and need to store items under the bed.
Melody M: Need underbed storage. Like color.
Lee M: For my college house.
Stephanie Z: I already have a set of these bed lifters on my bed and ordered another for a chair in my bedroom so that they would match. They are sturdy and very nice looking.
paul f: Heard they are better than plastic
Zanne G: I have some already, they're solid and sturdy for heavy furniture that sits low... However this is my 1st purchase here. I hope these are just as solid as the ones I have.
Patty T: I have plastic ones that broke, hoping these are sturdier.
Joshua G: Because this was one of the few places online and in store which actually carried the product I needed. The legs on my bed are rather large, and as such, most of the lifters I did find in local and online stores would not accomodate the dimensions.
Sherrill D: Sturdy for out king size bed to put up for storage.
Karen B: The lifts are solid and stable. I used them to raise the height of a couch and chair. Worked great.
Kris S: Right height and color. They do the lifting, so I don't have to...
Carole B: Desired higher bed height and under bed storage.
Linda A: Necessary to supply additional storage
Frederick W O: I got a set for one bed and they are just the thing we need. So I ordered another pair.
          Jose S: The positive reviews.
Homer K: Good Quality and Good Price.
