Needed strong enough supprot for heavier weight, and these work! Only addition is on King Size bed frame there are two places at head and foot on mine where the bars fit together, so could use 4 middle supports instead of 2. Thank you.

Comments about Bed Risers - 12" Legs - by BedRizer - BRZR 12:

I purchased plastic bed risers before and they didn't hold up well. I have kids and they play on the bed and leave things under the bed. The metal bed risers gives the bed great support and leaves plenty of room for storage. I didn't mind spending a few more bucks for a great product that will last.

I thought these would be much sturdier than they are. Although they are better than the stacking kind that do not attach to the bed frame

              Suggestion

              Q & A

              Questions about this item:
Shopper: Are they steady and no wobbling?
Jayne K: I love these bed risers... They are absolutely sturdy... This is the 2nd set I have bought. The first set were 15" high for a king size bed. Then I bought 12" risers for a gueen size bed. Since I'm an Interior decorator, I have recommended them to many people. A high bed not only "makes" a room, you get storage underneath!
Kate T: It's sturdy enough. I wouldn't recommend jumping on the bed or anything but I was able to stand on the bed, with the risers, to reach a high shelf. If you need to move the bed though, even just by an inch, you have to take the risers off. If the risers are even a little off balance the bed wobbles. Hope that helps.
Jeanette L: Yes, they are stable. They do not last forever. We are on our second set in 15 years.
Karen M: They are great .... very sturdy and secure. Highly recommend them, they're well worth the money.
Susan C: Hi. I have had the 12 inch risers for two years. I have not had any problem with them. They are steady and do not wobble. The instructions say not to slide the bed frame once you have them attached to the frame. So when I need to move the bed, I lift the frame. I did a lot of research before I bought these risers and I am happy with them. I don't know how they would hold up if you have kids jumping up and down on the bed. But for regular use, they are just fine.
Roxanne F: We had no problems with the risers! We can now make use of storage space under the bed!
Beth F: We are happy with the risers that we put on a twin bed. They don't seem to wobble.
Lauren R: yes. these are very sturdy and steady. I'm not sure I would jump up and down on the bed but it's definitely handled a lot of movement and remained safe and in tact.
Sheryl M: I have had no problem with the risers being wobbily - I was worried about the same thing. That being said I used the risers on a guest room bed that only gets used about 30 days a year.
Mary B: They aren't bad. My 11 yr. old son sleeps on the full size bed, he's light, thus with his weight, they do not wobble, and perhaps the risers would work really well with a single, but they are good with a full. We have a trundle (single bed) stored underneath, which may add to the stability. After searching the internet, I found these risers are the best product available, they are very heavy, just don't move the bed around with them attached, pick it up if you need to move within a room. Also make sure that the frame is tightly fastened with the middle support bars.
Shopper: Sorry but I have no clue what these attach to on the bed. How do they work? (I'm really good at math, too!) Please help me understand. Thanks, Lynne
Kelly C: They attach to the metal frame and raise it the distance of the extenders. Your current bed feet will no longer touch the ground. We did it to create storage space under the bed. They work but the bed rocks mor than it did when someone gets in.
Jayne K: Bed Risers are the best on the market! I have them on a kingsize bed and on a queen size bed. They attach to the bed frame and are VERY sturdy. I am an interior decorator and recommend them highly!
Beth F: Hi Lynne, I bought mine sometime ago so I had to look! That very top hook piece actually hooks over the side bedrail, (I put mine right beside the existing legs) and then the rail (and weight of the bed) rests on the part right under the hook. Hope that helps. Beth
              Mary B: The metal frame.
John L: I have had these risers for several years now and they work good but it takes a little work to attach them so the bed does not wiggle to much. They will only work with a standard angle-iron type bed frame (any size) since the clip on the top goes over the top of the frame and then you tighten down the bolt to keep it firmly in place. I have a king size bed so there is one near each corner plus two in the middle section of the bed. You can't slide the bed ones these are on since you will bend them, the bed has to be more-or-less picked up, at least one side at a time, or you can remove them and reassemble them after you move the bed. Hope this helps! John
Kate T: They simply tighten, like a vise, around the flat part of the bed frame - by each leg of the bed frame. The risers come with everything that you'll need to attach them.
Karen M: It easily clasps onto the metal bed frame and then the screw provided keeps it stationary. Have had it on a bed for over a year and no wobble at all. It is very stable and was simple to attach. Really a great product.
              Comment(s) about this item:
Vicki H: Because of the height and they are metal, and also includes center supports
lois j: my daughter has them and I liked them very much
Susan C: I had bought new bedding and discovered that the bed skirt was very long. All new bedding is now made for the extra high mattresses and box springs. I didn't want to try and shorten the bed skirt and I realized that the whole look would be better if the bed was higher. So I decided to look for a way to lift the bed. I thought the plastic and wood bed risers were unstable. I like that these attach to the frame.
Katie R: These bed risers provide the tallest lift I can find without having to purchase an expensive custom-made product. Also, these look to be the most sturdy.
