Store your bikes from the wall or ceiling of your garage with the Iron Wedge bike hanger. The PIW-1 bike rack has a cushioned sleeve to protect the bike wheel. The bicycle hanger is made from heavy-duty epoxy-coated, laser-cut 12-gauge steel. Features a "V" cutout to accommodate a cable lock for added security. Installation is easy with provided hardware (must be mounted into wall or ceiling studs). This hangers allows bikes to hang perpendicular from the wall or ceiling. Comes with Lifetime Warranty.

....I'm just not using this. Not for my road bike, not even for my old beat up commuter. I am NOT hanging my bike up by the wheels.

Yes, it's a low cost space saving solution but have you priced having your wheels trued lately?

Or the cost of the equipment and time to do it yourself?

Untrued wheels cause poor brake performance, your brakes can even fail. Don't risk it.

Stacksanddtacks has other solutions here that will keep your bike safe, up out of the way and not damage it.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
