Made from dishwasher safe polypropylene it uses twelve hinges to achieve its transformation - and when it's in the locked position, food is safely contained. Perfect for straining, draining, and rinsing. When flattened, this colander measures 16.5" W x 12.75"L x .5"H. When it's folded into the colander, it measures 10.75"L x 8.75"W x 5.5"H.
