This Week – Donate a Backpack or School Supplies

give backpacksPaying for back-to-school supplies is a burden for many families. If you can afford it, buy some extra school supplies and donate them anonymously to your local school to give to children from financially burdened families. Consider putting them in a backpack.

Here's a worldwide program by the Give a Kid a Backback Foundation, and Operation Backpack, a national program from Volunteers of America.

    Spring cleaning is here!!!

What a great way to help those who really need a backpack filled with school supplies. It will allow a child to have the chance to attend school. Give to this cause by donating the gently used backpack that is hiding in your closet or the new one that you have never used.

Ship it to Give a Kid a Backpack

Hi Erin, I think you'd need to check with the charities linked above directly.
