What's in Your Purse? Contest Closes Friday!

Sorry – contest closed

I’ve been reading a lot of posts on purse organization lately. I guess the subject is on all our minds around this time of year since our hands spend so much time in there fishing out our wallets.

Brings to mind a silly game that my friend Jenn and I would play when we got bored (or strangely inspired). It’s the “Who’s Got the Weirdest Thing in Her Purse” game. Since she commuted an hour to work and had to bring half her house with her for the day, she usually won.

Thus, the inspiration for our second contest: What’s the strangest thing you have in your purse right now? I’ve got about 30 Avon samples (Don’t worry, I sell it. I’m not some weird collector).

The contest will run for two weeks; from 8 AM Monday, December 3rd to 5PM Friday, December 14th. Leave us a comment telling us the strangest thing in your purse (or your wallet or pockets, guys!) and you could win one of four great prizes:

1st place: Cubby Storage Bench by Ameriwood

2nd place: Stainless Steel Wine Rack by Blomus

3rd place: Bath Shelf with Mirror and Trays by Organize-It-All

4th place: Blue Pebble Bath Mat by Interdesign

I'd love to be entered in your contest! You know, I don't even carry a purse! I often would put my debit card and cell phone in my daughter's purse (that's really all I need, those two things) since she was usually with me. She's now moved in with her partner and being an empty nester sucks. lol. And she tells me that I need to get my own purse now. :) Guess I'll have to shop for one eventually.
    Thanks for the contest!

My strangest things are me 2 car keys that will not start my car. What they will do is open my car door so I can get to my electronic keys. Which I always lock inside.

Just went to look in my purse and I have those suntanning googles(the ugly little ones)! Which is weird because I haven't gone tanning since before my 5 month old was born! They are just mixed in around all the normal stuff…diapers, wipes, missing socks. I was kind of embarrassed when my baby pulled them out at the park to suck on them!!!

I didn't think I had anything strange, but for someone else, they might think that it is very strange. It is a wooden eye (deer or Ox). Also called an Ojo (spanish for eye) Believe it or not, I have carried one around since my daughter was born. My husband (spanish) and his family have different superstitions. I carry the Ojo, to keep my daughter from getting sick when some looks at her without touching her. Ask anyone of spanish (mexican) decent. They will back this up. I didn't believe it either at first, but 8 years later, I still carry it! Count me in on the contest… thanks

A pair of Disney's Cars undies in a ziploc baggy! LOL! No, I'm not a sicko! They've been in there to use as a spare pair and "dirty undies transport bag" since I started potty training my oldest son! LOL! I guess I could probably take them out now since he hasn't had an accident in over a year! HaHA!

You gals with problems should check out the Organizer Pouch at http://www.wonderbags.net
A place for everything and never move it all again because the Pouch goes from one tote or handbag to another or moves from purse to gym bag to diaper bag and everything still in place.

I've got my dogs Rx in the large center section.
