Containing Caps

By Carmen Coker

11603_zmBall caps and hats are a big cause of clutter in many homes. If you aren't sure of a good way to store caps, then they will end up in a big pile on the floor or in multiple piles scattered around the house. Meanwhile, you are unable to find the hat you need when you need it! Plus, they are collecting dirt, losing their shape, and could be in danger of becoming Fido's next chew toy.

The CapRack is a great choice for a hat organizer. I bought one for my husband about 8 months ago; all his hats are in one place, they retain their shape, and he has full visibility of all of them at once.  He actually told me that it's his favorite organizer! Getting the Man Stamp of Approval is a big deal, especially coming from him since he isn't the least bit into organization.

Here are the features of the CapRack and why it blows away its competition:

- It is the most advanced cap display and storage solution ever developed.

- It holds up to 36 caps!

- Designed to adapt to the changing needs (and size) of your cap collection, it comes complete with 5 feet of cord and 12 cap-friendly cap clips. Clips may be spaced anywhere along the cord, providing an infinite variety of display and storage possibilities. You can display 12 caps while, at the same time, storing another 12 right behind them.

- Its award winning, patented clip design preserves cap shape integrity and displays them front-forward for optimum visibility.

- It may be hung on the wall, attached to the back of a door, looped over a closet rod - even hung from the ceiling like a mobile! (It comes pre-assembled in the package and includes mounting hardware.)

Also, if your cap(s) happen to get dirty, you can also use Item #11510 so that when you wash and dry it, it'll still retain its shape. : )

I bought this and we hated it.

It's a pain to grab your hat off and put it back. They claim you can put two hats on one hook. Not sure what type of baseball hats they have, but it was a mess.

I threw it away and our baseball caps are in clear bins in the closet. Much easier system.

Mary - I am sorry to hear that you guys had trouble with your CapRack, but I am happy that you found a better solution for your needs! :)

Maybe they have updated the hooks since you purchased yours? I have two baseball caps on most of the hooks on our CapRack and they fit really well and they are easy to slide on/off. I have also recommended this to several clients and they have had good luck with it.
