Electronic Charging Station - So They All Have a Home

By Eva Wallace

charging-stationThis is truly the digital age. iPods, digital cameras, cell phones, PDAs, you name it! Even I, the planner-queen, have a bunch of these wonderful gadgets now. And they all need charging with a riot of charging cords that all look identical until you have to plug one in. Then it's always the last one you try. Not anymore.

This Electronic Charging Station gives a home to each of your devices. A handsome little bed for your electronic pals to recharge for the night.

It has holes for the power cords in the lower backside of each of the four charging bays so you can keep most of each cord inside the charging station under the removable tray. The tray is great for loose change, extra batteries or keys. (Works best with most devices that charge from the bottom with small cords. it's not really for side-charging devices.) The cords then trail out the backside of the charging station and down to your outlet. Each bay has space for a label so you always know what cord fits which device. No more tangled cords and no more confusion.

The Charging Station comes in black or brown faux leather with blue accents and sells for $24.99.

Charging stations are a necessity these days with multiple cell phones, cameras and mp3 players in a family.

When I work with a client on a new Kitchen, laundry room or home office I always ask where they would like to incorporate one.

A little planning in the beginning means ample charging ports in a convenient and concealed area for every one.

I want them to put plugs in the wall behind draws. I always put things like my cell phone in a drawer. I can't charge it in the drawer, but if there was a plug on the wall behind the drawer I could. I should build homes :)
