Lunch Bags are Never Big Enough!
By
I can't tell you how many lunch bags I've tried out at one point or another looking for a convenient way to "brown-bag" it at work, only to find that they just don't cut it for me. They are all too small!
Now if I were the kind of person who took a little time in the morning to make a sandwich, wash my berries, and measure a little salsa out of the jar, I suppose I would be fine. It might all fit. On a good day.
But me, I never have quite enough time in the morning (because I love my bed way too much!) to get me, my son, and my lunch ready to go. So I find myself grabbing a grocery bag and tossing in a loaf of bread, a brick of cheese, a box of strawberries, and anything else I find that's not bolted down!
Well, for my last birthday, my friends here at Stacks and Stacks got me the cutest Birmingham lunch bag! This sucker's over 14 inches wide and completely insulated! I can fit my bread, cheese, berries, some oatmeal, yogurt, and some ground coffee for later! And the best part is - It looks like a purse! It has a hounds tooth fabric cover, black vinyl trim, and a drawstring liner. It even has little metal buckles on the handles!
There are several other cute styles, too:
For a more classic look, there's the Toronto Lunch Bag.
The Sydney Lunch Tote is perfect for an earthier look.
Then there are a couple of duffle styles; the Bombay and the Glasgow.
And for the ultimate girly-girl, the Montreal - an adorable little patent number with a polka-dot liner! TOO CUTE!
They range from $20 to $30 dollars each and are well worth the price when you think of how much it will carry and how many things you'll use it for!
