The Amazing Micro-Fiber Cleaning Cloth

By Eva Wallace

micro-fiber clothI hate to clean, so any product that gives me great results with minimal effort and cost is just wonderful. Lately, I’ve discovered just how wonderful Micro-fiber Cleaning Cloths are.

Even though this one is specifically made for cleaning computer screens and the like, it really works well for just about any job you might have. I have a couple of them at home and I use them for dusting, cleaning doorways and walls, mirrors, windows, countertops, appliances - even floors. And keep one in the car – they make quick work of cleaning smudges off the windshield.

They pick up dirt like a magnet and most times I don’t have to use anything more than clean water to do it! And when you’re done, just pop them in the laundry. The only drawback (for me, being rather tactile-sensitive) is the texture. They are so absorbent that they feel like they are sucking the oil right out of my hands. Solution – wear gloves!

I highly recommend these for any cleaning job you have. And on sale for $4.99, you can stock up!

I have to ask, what makes microfiber cloths perform any differently from, say, a washcloth, a cloth diaper, or some other cloth?

It's the fabric they're made from. It picks up dirt and oils without smearing them around. Have you ever used a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser? They are similar in how they lift off dirt from surfaces. Definitely worth trying!

I have sensitive skin and regular washcloths make my face look so red and swollen. I bought some expensive face cloths that are microfiber. After buying several so I'd always have a clean one it occurred to me that the smallest version of the cleaning ones was the perfect size for a face cloth and are much cheaper.

Furthermore, they rinse out clean and wring out very dry so they dry out without forming a mildewy smell.

I love microfiber cloths!

CathWren, I NEVER would have thought of that - that's wonderful! Thanks for the tip!
