Product of the Week - Lists, Wonderful Lists!
By
As most of you know, I am a huge fan of lists! They keep me focused on the task(s) at hand.
I have one on my fridge which is a general shopping list. This is for everyone at home to write down the household items or food items that I need to purchase on my next shopping trip. I also keep a small spiral notebook in my purse at all times.
This spiral notebook is my “brain”. When I’m ready for a shopping trip, I separate out and organize the “fridge list” into separate lists in my notebook according to which store they can be found. This usually consists of Foodmaxx, Target, and whichever stores I find really great one time specials. The spiral notebook also holds all my ideas for blog posts and things I want to look up or research online, as well as my “things to do” lists for work and home.
I can usually find really cute spiral notebooks that work well for me, but generally the fridge ones are a little on the boring side. That’s where the “All Out Of” pad comes in. This list is great! It comes pre printed with the usual assortment of staples organized by category, along with blanks for personalizing the list to fit your needs. This list is one of several helpful lists on Stacks and Stacks’ site: There’s an “Errand Manager” which helps keep you errands in check, a “Pack This” list for preparing for travel (I love this one!), a “To-Do” list, and a “To-Don’t” list – a humorous but helpful take on the traditional to-do list.
As much as I love lists, when they are fun to look at they are all that much more fun to use! What special lists do you use?
