It’s a new year, and a great time to take stock of all the photos you have accumulated over the last year. This is especially important at this time of year because, right after the holidays, most of us have an explosion of new pictures! Since I only order pictures about once a year, there are usually about 200 of them to sort through.
What I like to do is sit down with all my photos and three baskets. Each basket has a number. Number one is for pictures that I absolutely want displayed somewhere.

Even though this one is specifically made for cleaning computer screens and the like, it really works well for just about any job you might have. I have a couple of them at home and I use them for dusting, cleaning doorways and walls, mirrors, windows, countertops, appliances - even floors. And keep one in the car – they make quick work of cleaning smudges off the windshield.
Ever get that urge to volunteer, to make a difference somewhere? I do. But if you’re anything like me, you don’t have a lot of extra time and even less extra money. Makes it hard to find meaningful ways to help give back to my community.
Well, I guess there are a lot of others out there like me, because I found a volunteer website created just for these busy times. It’s called The Extraordinaries.
Starting the day after Christmas and into January you'll find deep discounts in stores carrying holiday themed items (think Santa, Rudolph, Frosty the Snowman and religious icons like Mary and baby Jesus). Stock up now and save a bundle next year. CLUTTER CONTROL WARNING: Make a shopping list before you head out so you’re not tempted by the thought of a good deal only to find you don’t really need or want an item after you bring it home!
