Comments about Stacks and Stacks Cable Shelf Brackets: I got this product to put a glass shelf across the long mirror in my sons' bathroom. It is a wonderful idea and has made a huge difference in their bathroom. The hard part (of course there always is a hard part!) was that the cables were not nearly long enough for my purpose! Due to the design of the bathroom, I needed to hang the shelf from above the mirror - almost 4 feet. The cables only allow for about an 18 inch drop. I had to cut the cables and replace them with cable from the hardware store, which also meant I wasn't able to use the hangars that came with the kit. BUT my primary reason for buying the kit was to get the actual U-brackets for the glass shelf - project complete! I like the idea of the brackets, but would have liked it even more if they were offered in varying lengths! Pros
