I'm a knitter & weaver, and use these cubes for storing large amounts of yarn. The canvas allows natural fibers to breathe, the construction keeps out dust and bugs and the clear top lets me know what's inside. This size holds a LOT; the smaller ones (sets of 3) are good, too. There's less guilt when your stash is organized!

In the photo of the product, the sides of the storage chests look rigid, but they're not. They're just a thin piece of canvas. I was expecting something sturdier. I didn't want something that looked collapsed if I didn't have it totally stuffed.
If you don't mind that, then they might be alright.
They do look nice and inconspicuous and are larger than a lot of the other canvas storage chests.

I love this item, I use it for storing change of season clothes, extra blankets and sheet sets plus extra pillows and comforters; they take up alot less room then those plastic bins.
