• This twin bed does not require a box spring, it has thirteen slats to support the mattress
• There are two deck compartments that are flush with the deck and are opened with a finger hole
• The ships wheel spins freely so a child can stand on the bow and command the roughest of seas
• Three sock drawers on each side of the stern and two drawers in the headboard below the deck and above the mattress
• A mast rises up to a height of 92" from the floor to the tip, but is adjustable for ceiling heights greater than 8'
• The crossbeam has a spring and bolt so the crossbeam, when pulled upon, will swing down and out of the joint in the mast to prevent swinging from the mast 
• The sail is made of a canvas material and includes an imprinted map
• Night lights built into the windows of the aft cabin and require 12 volt candelabra light bulbs
