Comments about Acrylic Flip CD Rack - 20 CDs - by U.S. Acrylic - 6112:

I bought this product when I first started organizing my craft room. I was looking for cheap but versatile ways to store different things so that I could have easy access and view all that I had of certain items. I thought about CD case holders and searched for the net looking for the right one...I was looking for a certain look...rather than stacking them like regular CD cases with names on the spine, I saw the standing holder that you could flip back and forward easily to view covers that could be easily created. As soon as I saw this online I knew it was perfect. I knew that I could store all of my foam mounted/unmounted stamps that I needed to store and have easy access to on top of it. I didn't want the stackable cd holder and I did not want the traditional way of storing them in notebooks or in small stackable boxes, for many reasons.Although stamp storage in notebooks and boxes are decent ways to store/organize things most of the times they tend to take a lot of space, limit easy access and views of what stamps you have causing you to not use them as much. For the avid music or movie collector this would also work great with cds/dvd's as well. I had no cd cases, but was able to buy a bundle of empty CD cases online with no issues. I then mounted my stamps by theme. The Stamps stick to the cd case just like they would to an acrylic mount (so no loose stamps)! I then cut paper to make a "cover" and stamped the sheet with each stamp stored in each case. (The cutting the paper for the cover and stamping covers are the only major work you have to do-but TRUST ME….IT IS SO WORTH IT!)This makes it incredibly easy for me to flip through the stack (which is made easy and smooth), and I can see not only the stamps that I have but what the actual stamped image looks like. This is important to a lot of stamper's because the way a stamp looks and the way it stamps can be very different.I did one row and I realized I liked it so much, I ended up buying a second one. I love it, because I can see all my stamps and their images easily.I finally organized them to make one row (stack) all holiday stamps and the other row (stack) all other types of stamps, which makes it easy when I am making cards for certain holidays or occasions.I now have an amazing storage solution, which I am constantly informing people where I got my storage solutions...I promote it on my different blogs and forums as much as I can!I like that they are long and skinny and that I can take one row at a time, to look for what I am looking for. I don't have to take a huge storage case down at a time OR to find a huge spot to put them all down in one spot. You can spread them out- or you can store them all together on the shelf. Up to you!The holder is super clean looking and very smooth and easy to use...as well as it goes with any decor because they are clear and are heavy duty plastic but not overly heavy. I am planning on buying another one soon, because I am running out of room for stamp storage, as I accumulate stamps, I will add to my stacks.I would definitely recommend buying these items for people who are looking for a nice and easy way to store your stamps, music CDs or DVD's.I love this product and will be back again to buy more!

        I love these.

I love these. In fact, I'm about to order another one. I have an area in my kitchen nook, where I put a bench and on it my CD, Cassette and yes, turntable player. I had put these two on one side and had another item beside them. I've been working on the room today, and decided the other item would look better someplace else, and if I had another one of these it would be wonderful!

Highly recommend. I have been looking for a practical flip rack for my picture CDs. This rack is excellent - I can now browse through my pictures with a mere flip. I have tried others, but they were flimsy and moved around on the surface of my desk. This rack has four pads on the bottom that make it stay in place. I will be buying more as soon as I fill these up.

          Q & A

          Questions about this item:
Shopper: Isn't $18.00 rather expensive for a piece of plastic?
Sandra Lee M: It's not just a piece of plastic. It has dividers and holds several CD's making them easy to identify and store on a shelf or in a drawer. I bought one several years ago at our local Stacks and Stacks store which is no longer here.. I checked many CD storage units in other stores and couldn't find anything I liked so I went online to see if my CD holder was still available. Thanks goodness it was. I purchased another one and will continue to do so as my CD collection grows. I would have paid more if necessary.
Dawn A: Hello, I personally I have 10 of these holders. ?I use them to store CDs that hold my unmounted rubber stamps. ?I love how easy it is to flip thru the CDs and the fact u can stack them on top of each other. ?This one is made out of Acrylic and it seems to be heavier material then "regular plastic". ?I bought all but one of these holders from stacks and stacks.? Personally, I like the holders and feel they work well enough to spend the $ on them. ?Now that I know stacks and stacks and their quality I have every intention of buying more through them for the price because I personally find them useful, sturdy and easy to use. I have found some similar out there but they are made out of flimsy plastic and are not as sturdy. ?I found with stacks and stacks u get better quality for the money. ?Hope this helps.
Donald L: 18.00 is expensive for a piece of plastic but its worth every cent based on what this piece of plastic does along with the convenience of what it does. You can see all the CDs without removing any of them
Mary M: Yes, perhaps but I couldn't find what I wanted locally. I wanted clear plastic not metal, and this was exactly what I wanted.
          Comment(s) about this item:
Rhoda L: The rack matches one I already have. Easy to select CD.
Sandra Lee M: Have them and love them, so compact!
