I used several sets of these cedar liners on regular shelves in our bedroom closets, and they work fine! You don't have to have wire shelves. I wanted a cedar closet, but did not have a large budget for it. These fit the bill- nice size, scent just right, reasonable price, and they sit right on the shelves. I love these cedar liners. I have one closet with the wire shelving. I like to keep my clothes on these shelves, but the wires leave lines deeply imbedded in the clothes. These cedar shelves eliminate that problem quickly and easily. Smell good, too. Great idea...custom fit to the wire shelves.
