Lasted a year, through his traveling back and forth home packed with laundry. My son loved it because it had wheels and a handle which made trasport a lot easier for him. When he finally drug it to the last limb, i had to purchased another one. Would highly recommend this to all college students. If that's not enough, I live in an area that is very cold, snowing, humid etc-everything that makes laundry day annoying. The new caddy made a huge difference - it holds two full loads (of the big machines!), has pockets on the side. One flaw-the handle is on the side and there's no one at the top (like suitcases).
