The Envirocycle Compost Maker produces quality compost more quickly and more easily than conventional composters by its rolling and mixing action which keeps the ingredients well mixed and aerated. It makes compost tea, a rich organic liquid plant food so much appreciated by the gardeners. This liquid can be collected in the unique composte maker base. No messy digging to turn the compost pile. Simply give the drum a few turns and your compost remains well mixed. It is compact, durable, and user-friendly. The Envirocycle features small openings on the the drum for aeration, lockable lid to prevent access to compost by small animals, indented drum for easy gripping and rolling, base that is able to collect up to 5 gal. of liquid fertilizer or compost tea, and 5 bushel capacity. Please see zoom for Frequently Asked Questions, and Other Info tab for individual component information.
Best materials for composting? Try kitchen scraps (except dairy products), lawn clippings, food waste, coffee grounds, even shredded newspapers and cardboard for a start!

A. The Drum (5 bushel capacity)
TURNING IS SIMPLE. You need no mixing tools. Make sure the door is closed, put your fingers in the grooves and spin the composter one full turn. Inside, your new throwouts are getting mixed in as new matter to your compost thus creating oxigen to speed up decomposition and eliminate odors. The grips make it easier to handle and easier to turn the drum for effortless rotation.

B. The Door
REMOVING COMPOST IS EASY. To dump compost directly onto your soil or garden, just fasten the door and roll the drum off the base and into your garden; remove the door and dump the compost right where you want it. Or dump your compost into a wheel barow, cart, tarp, or garbage bag if you want to collect it. To make potting soil, just scoop it out and add it to your mix. The hinged door is removable for easy access as well as for proper aeration and humidity control.

C. Hardware Kit
8 rollers sit on top of the base to balance the weight as much as possible and cause as little friction as possible. The rollers rest in specially designed undercut beds, providing easy rotation and stability.

D. The Base
HERE'S A UNIQUE DESIGN FEATURE YOU'RE SURE TO LOVE...the tank base collects your compost tea - nature's miracle fertilizer! Gardeners call the liquid runoff that forms when organic matter decomposes "compost tea" - it's chock-full of nutrients, there's no better plant food for houseplants or fertilizer for landscaping plants, and best of all - it's FREE! Small holes at the top of the tank allow the moisture to run in and collect in the base. To use your compost tea, just roll the drum off the base, insert rubber plugs (small caps) in the holes (they come with your composter), remove the cap on the underside of the base and pour out your miracle fertilizer.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Compost Maker - Envirocycle:

.... great soil. Turn your lawn clippings, yard trimmings, even leftovers and the outer leaves of romaine lettuce from your salad into black gold, compost. Why pay the high prices for compost at the box store when you can save money and the enviornment by making your own. \n\nMy soil was awful where I moved in, I use this model to "cook" compost. It's easy to turn, easier to use than the box style I also have.
