When you first open the box it's a bit intimidating. You have to put every piece together. You really should have two people there to work on this. Once we got started it wasn't as difficult as we had thought it might be. It took about two hours to assemble. Everything that you need to assemble is in the kit..except for a screwdriver. Once together the piece is absolutely stunning.
