Shopper: I want to confirm the dimensions - what is the depth and width of the lower cabinet (where the microwave would go). And - are you happy with this cabinet? Thank you!
Matt M: I have checked the dimensions with the manufacturer. You can see them here and they have also been added to the product description on the main page.
The microwave area measures 15" high by 24" wide and has a depth of about 8".
The lower cabinet area is 19" high by 17" wide and has an adjustable shelf.
The upper cabinet (glass doors) is 16.5" high by 17" wide and has an adjustable shelf.

Shopper: I'm still confused about the measurements. Your answer says the microwave area (which I assume is the open area between the top of the base and the upper cabinet) is 24" wide, which would then make it wider than the base, which is stated as 17" wide. Also, at 19" high, the base would be about knee height and you'd have to bend way over to put anything into the microwave sitting on the top of the base. Most bases, to be functional, are about waist height (30-36"). Are they leaving out some measurements, i.e., the space for the drawers? The height of the legs? What are the overall dimensions with the upper cabinet attached?
I am interested in this piece, but unsure whether to purchase it without understanding these measurements. Thank you.

I have emailed the manufacturer to verify or clarify these dimensions... I believe the 19" height is only for the bottom shelves and does not take into account those two drawers - making the counter top taller than 19" (probably around 24"). I will try to get a dimensions diagram for this cabinet so the dimensions are as clear as possible. Thanks for your patience.
