Comments about 60" Covered Extra Wide Clothes Closet - by Whitmor - 7013-167: PURCHASED TWO TO STORE OFF-SEASON CLOTHES IN ATTIC, THEN PURCHASED ANOTHER AS A MAKE-SHIFT CLOSET WHILE MY SECOND STORY IS UNDERGOING RENOVATIONS. IT WORKS GREAT AT KEEPING MY CLOTHES DUST-FREE AND CLEAN WITH ALL OF THE DUST FROM THE RENOVATIONS SETTLING EVERYWHERE IN THE HOUSE. THE OFF-SEASON CLOTHES THAT ARE STORED IN THE ATTICE CAN STILL "BREATHE" BECAUSE THE PLASTIC ISN'T AIRTIGHT. IT WAS SO EASY TO ASSEMBLE BY MYSELF, INCLUDING PUTTING THE PLASTIC OVER THE FRAME--A LITTLE BIT OF CARE AND PATIENCE AND IT WENT TOGETHER JUST FINE. Shopper: Is this a sturdy rack, can it hold a lot of winter coats?
Christina P: It can hold a good amount of coats! Just make sure the unit is put together as snugly/evenly as it can be. I bought it for that purpose too. It's better if you have it in place where you want it before loading it up. Probably should not drag it around once it's full. I even put (empty) carry-on size luggage on top of the rack. The bottom is cardboard, but u can still store things on it. I like how it zippers also. Glad I purchased it. Good product for a good price.
