Best used when you can NOT drill to install a proper mug hook hanger such as Item #: 11055\n\nIdeal use would neeed a shelf of <1" thick shelf but at least 3/4".\n\nUpside - no drilling\nDownside - shelf above will need to accommodate the rod holding the cup holder.\n\nHooks too close together for use with large mugs; more suited to tea cups

I put these in some cabinets I recently put up. They are great but really only work for smaller cups and mugs if you want to fit a bunch of there. If that doesn't matter then you can fit about 2 to 3 regular coffee mugs on there.
