CD cases measuring .4" thick. Thus, the CD capacity is 2.5 CD's for every inch, or 5 CD's for every 2 inches, or 25 CD's for every 10 inches, etc.
DVD cases measuring .6" thick. Thus, the DVD capacity is 1.67 DVDs for every inch, or 10 DVDs for every 16.7", etc.
