    Bold, heavy knocker- looks great on my 8'X42" mahogany door where a typical knocker looked undersized. The inside of the moveable piece is not finished but could only be visible from above [impossible unless mounted very low] or below [if one crouched]. I had mine replated in satin nickel [$]] to match my door hardware.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
