This product doesn't handle flaky cereal well. But it looks great on the counter and handles Cheerios just fine. My wife loves it.

Item is good if your a Honey Nut Cheerios or same shape cereal down the line. If your a flakes type you'll have to do a small modification to one or both nobs. Other then that it's simple to use and keeps cereal fresh and stell free
