The plastic post is designed to simply install over a standard 4x4 wood post. Included with the decorative post is a mailbox support arm with newspaper holder. Medium mailbox recommended, minimum 6 1/2 inch width. Best suited for mailboxes weighing less than 14lbs. Please note: 4x4 wood post, mailbox, and mailbox mounting hardware NOT included.
