No leakage, and very convenient to use. I think the only way you could have trouble is if you weren't careful about the height of water in the reservoir as it relates to the top of your treestand, but the directions are quite clear, and following them should lead to sucess. Best Uses Comments about Stacks and Stacks Evergreen Tree Watering System - Gift Box Design: Eventually it worked as advertised (keeps tree watered) but you need to adjust the height so that bottom of the container is almost level with the water level you want in your tree stand. I had to try a few different items to prop it up before a found an inverted bowl that was the perfect height (I plan on wrapping that bowl next year so it blends in). Product also leaked a little from where the hose attaches to the container so don't put direct on a hardwood floor until you verify that yours does not too. Pros
