Want to have your artificial christmas tree last for years? Then don't try to shove it back in the cardboard box it came in. And the canvas bags don't protect the branches/shape enough...and can still let dust in. Why buy a new one every 3 years because the old one is starting to look ratty?
This box is huge. I know my tree will last a good long time. And that saves me money.

Less than a year old and the lid won't stay locked into place when you pick it up the lid pops open. Don't waste your money, a box works much better.

Shopper: .Iis it water proof, can I fill it with water?

Mark C: I bought one over a year ago and sis use it for a tree. It's no longer in my possession, but if I remember correctly, there were no holes in the box. However, you need to remember that water weighs more than 8 lbs a gallon. filling this with water, it would weigh in excess of 300 lbs. I doubt the sides would stand that much pressure. It just wasn't designed for it.

Cheryl S: Yes, you could fill it with water. It is a solid plastic box. The lid would not be water tight though.

Betty R: I loved this box for my tree. I have bought a new tree and gave the old one to family and gave it in my box. Really wanted the same thing, just wish it didn't cost so much, I know I didn't pay this much originally. Very sturdy, lasted through my son dragging down stairs.
