Shopper: This is for my 14 yr old room who wants to have a fake zebra rug. We put in a new laminate floor because of her asthma, and a good size throw rug would be nice. Is this rug furry at all or just flat? If it has a furry touch, is it lose fur that comes out? Is it soft or a hard fur? It's hard to but over the internet not being able to feel and touch the item, is there a store that carries something close that we can check out?

Matt M: Barb, This is what I heard back from the manufacturer. 1. The rug is furry 2. The fur should not come loose out of the rug 3. It is soft fur I hope that helps you make a decisions! Let me know if you need anything else.
