Intensa is the only cooking system with the innovative ThermoStar temperature indicator built into the lid.  The indicator changes color to tell you exactly what is happening inside your pot, significantly reducing time and energy, and giving you total control over the cooking process. The durable and high-heat resistant melamine handles are comfortable to hold and the side handles feature integrated lid holders, allowing for easier, mess-free cooking. The internationally patented pouring function built into each pot enables hot water or juices to be poured out with the lid on.  A turn of the lid at 90 degrees seals the lid, providing the optimal conditions for gentle cooking using little or no water. Intensa is designed to maximize precious space in the kitchen.  The conical shape allows for all pieces of the same diameter to be stacked inside each other without wedging or scratching because they rest on the handles. The fully encapsulated CookStar all-stove base, which is comprised of a pure aluminum core and high-quality 18/10 stainless steel, ensures that the base that will never separate or warp.  The energy-saving base also provides quick optimal heat distribution, diffusion, and storage without any hot spots.  Safe for induction stoves.
