The "Flying Nun" floating wall shelf is named for the vertical pieces at the ends of the shelf (reminiscent of the character's whimsical headpiece). Not only do those end pieces add an element of modern design to the display shelf, but can operate as bookends when hung upside down. You'll appreciate the versatility that this nic nac shelf provides; use it for displaying decorative items, or for utility purposes in the garage and laundry room. This attractive floating wall shelf is constructed of select northern hardwoods and available in Unfinished wood or these finishes: Natural, Walnut, White, Dark Cherry, Black, Chocolate, Honey and Mahogany. No assembly other than mounting required. Weight capacity 35 to 150 lbs. depending on installation quality (if mounted to wood studs, will hold up to 150 lbs.).
