I bought this at least partially because the product picture shows it being used to store tampons. That's what a toilet tank basket is for, and I was amused to finally see a manufacturer not only realize that but actually advertise it. Also, it has a lid. Why do so many bathroom baskets not have lids? I am happy to have an extensive tampon stash on hand but that doesn't mean they're pretty to look at.

The quality is actually better than I expected (it's made by InterDesign). It's a nice solid piece, doesn't feel flimsy at all. Oh, the bottom is wire mesh and not solid, if that matters to you.

They also make a matching toilet paper storage canister if one roll storage isn't enough, or (more likely) if you want to use the roll storage to hold more girl stuff.

Good product, surprised something like this was so hard to find.
