Work well indoors or protected area (garage). Deteriorate sooner in outdoor protected areas; seems to crack and split. Overall, good inexpensive item well suited for its purpose

Thought it was just what I needed and it was, except within a week of putting them on, they began to crack and fall apart, eventually falling off the knob in pieces. Very disappointing!

i purchased and installed this as a gift to a 60 yr. old lady who has had surgery (7 years ago)on both wrists for carpal tunnel injuries and has lost a lot of "grip" in her hands because of that and combined with being a little older, she has a very difficult time with doorknobs. the look of relief and pleasure in her eyes at her first trial of the first converted door knob has made it all worth while. after that look i then went on and installed the "great grips" on all the rest of the the door knobs in her home.\ni am a retired engineer and i will tell you that the name of "great grips" for this product is totally correct and true to its use.
