The seat itself opens to reveal hidden storage for blankets, crafts, or other miscellaneous items that measures 15.5" long, 34.5" wide, and 3.5" deep. On the face of the seat there is additional carving that is comprised of circular medallions in a horizontal repeating pattern. The detail is finished off with the front legs that are hand carved to give the appearance of rivets on top with a traditional clawed foot design on bottom.
