Shopper: is it recommended to keep outside during the winter?
Matt M: This hose holder can be stored outdoors through the winter - however, extremely cold temperatures make it susceptible to breaking if it is hit. For the maximum lifetime, the manufacturer recommends you bring it indoors in the winter, but it is by no means necessary and the product will have a long lifetime even with constant outdoor storage. I hope that helps!

Joseph D: I had this item before for many years. But over time from the heavy hoses I had on it it broke. Now I will just just a regular hose on it and I will be set for years. Great item. Everything else out there is made cheaply.
